Her Approach

I am a firm believer in the importance of empathy, kindness and a little bit of humour along the way. I value honesty and openness, and I strive to approach everything with a compassionate heart. I have always felt that life is a journey best shared, and I feel incredibly privileged to be able to be a part of the journeys of others.

Martha works with adults, young people and children aged 11-18 years, providing a warm and welcoming environment for open conversation and personal development. For younger clients, I employ engaging, age-appropriate strategies that empower them to express themselves and cultivate healthy coping mechanisms.

Martha is an integrative therapist, which means she draws from various therapeutic approaches to find what works best for you. This allows her to tailor your sessions to meet your unique needs and preferences, ensuring you receive the most effective support.

Experience and Training

Martha has a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy working with adults, young people and children.

With a background in support work Martha has worked in listening roles for all of her adult life. This has given her a wealth of knowledge around the topics of substance use, addiction, bereavement, neurodiversity, domestic violence and trauma.

Martha undertakes regular supervision to maintain and develop her professional practice.
